SUMO II 1.3 liter 8 valve "Long Block"

This is our Top of the line "High Performance Engine" with a SUMO II head. No One Builds a better Quality or More Powerful Engine! THIS ENGINE WILL GIVE YOU BETTER GAS MILEAGE THAN YOUR OLD WORN OUT ENGINE, IT IS GREAT ON OR OFF ROAD! WITH OUR HIGH POWER LOW END CAM, IT PRODUCES WAY MORE TORQUE & ALL AROUND HORSE POWER, YET IT WILL STILL REV HIGHER THAN MOST OTHER LARGER  ENGINES.  DON'T BE FOOLED BY CHEAP KNOCK-OFFS! WE HAVE BEEN BUILDING SUZUKI ENGINES FOR OVER 10 YEARS.

This engine works with or with out EFI and passes all smog test. There are over 1000 of these engines running and blowing the doors off many larger engines! The SUMO II engine also allows your Samurai to run at lower rpm's in higher gears....this is great for driving on road in hills and into high wind. You will now have "Passing Power" something unheard of in a Zuk!!!   Note: we are not responsible for speeding tickets you will get with this engine.

This engine works best with a DOUG THORLEY Tri-Y Header and 2 inch Exhaust. Do not use a cheap Pacesetter Header as they will kill your top end performance!!

All our Heads are glass beaded , pressure tested, 3 way valve grind, all parts meet or exceed spec or they are replaced with new. Our SUMO II engines come with all new stainless exhaust valves, pocket ported and bench flowed for perfection.

Rods are resized, inspected and new .040 over pistons are installed with Hastings Premium Chrome Molly Rings for longer life than O.E.M. 

New Clevite 77 rod and main bearings are used.

New timing belt, & a New Oil Pump are supplied along with all the engine gaskets required to install your engine. 

We also include break-in information, along with tuning & timing information. As a few people have found out the hard way "even the factory service manual is wrong on several things" So~ we provide the correct info with all our engines!

We only charge a $250.00 refundable core charge until we receive your core back. Your core must be useable and you pay only return shipping on your good core. No good core..... no refund! Core MUST be returned within 30 days after you receive your engine from us.
